The ‘House of terror’ is one of the most interesting places in Budapest. It is a museim now, but it was witness to two shamefal amd tragic periods in Hungaru’s 20th century history. It was truly a house if terror.
In this house everyone can see how Hitler had terrored the peoples ang how he had destoyed their houses and the bridges.
On the second flor there is a hall where Hitler led his congresses. You can see their uniforms and the symbols ot them. When you vame in the hall you can hear the Hitler’s voise.
At the other hall people can see some of the things to the soldiers like parts of their uniforms, some of the guns and there was a notebook and a pensil. May be with them the soldiers had written their storyes, because they want everybody know the soldier life. On the walls there are some monitors where you can see and hear many different storyes about the war. In this hall the floor is like a map.
On the first floor there is a big and very old tank. I think it was saved from the war.
The ‘House of terror’ is very interesting place and who went in Budapest must went to seen it .

An Editorial : House Of Terror – Budapest.Dosi Dimchovsky

We were tourist in Hungary. The day was sunny and we were walking down the clean and beatiful streets of Budapest. After hours and hours of walking we saw a big TERROR sign which was written by the sunshines getting between the big letters on the roof.

House Of Terror

We were amazed how clearly you can read the word Terror in a town such as Budapest.I knew that was going to be a great experiance and went in with all of my eyes wide open.We got the tickets and went in.

The first thing you eyes can see is a giant soviet machine. It was a  Tank T-54.These were the main russian tanks during the war. With those machines Budapest was totally destroyed. You also can see the thousands of faces on the walls. Those were the victims from the wars. All the walls were covered by black and white pictures of those people.

This is the first thing you see when you get in.

Then you see the little details which are making this museum so unique.Under the tank there was a big hole with oil leaking in it.This may sound weird but actually it makes the things much more real.Like you are there.

We went to the elevator.Which took us on the third floor .We could hear the music in our blood….It really took us there. The facts and the screens showing what the people missed through the years . There were all sorts off rooms showing exactly what it used to be in those days. You can be there for hours and hours and still thinking that several minutes have passed. You really can see that the museum was made from the pain of the people. They just want to inform us about their pain.Every room had its own character.

However some people dont like the museum.I think this is because of the true facts the museum shows. They are shocking.

Believe me, you wont do mistake if you visit this museum when traveling to Budapest. It is such an adventure that you can not miss!

National gala day of Bulgaria by Lili Mircheva

1 03 2010

On 3 March, ending 129 years before the war, remained in our history under the name of liberation. On this day, the Bulgarian state resurrected five centuries after the Turkish yoke. It comes after almost a century spiritual revival and national liberation struggles.

On March 3 in San Stefano near Istanbul, Russia and Turkey sign a peace treaty, which has a preliminary character. Freedom under the contract receive the Bulgarian lands in Moesia, Thrace and Macedonia. Final terms of peace laid down in the summer, the Berlin Congress with the participation of European great powers. This was a precondition of the Western powers against their neutrality in the war. Under the Treaty of Berlin liberty receive Northern Bulgaria and Sofia, Bulgaria included in the Principality. Autonomous, but under the political and military power of the sultan remains Southern Bulgaria. Eastern Macedonia and Thrace returned to the Ottoman Empire. The struggle of great powers for influence in the Balkan Peninsula determines the fragmentation of the Bulgarian lands.

Baba Marta by Lili Mircheva

Baba Marta is a mythical character in the Bulgarian folklore. In folk beliefs represented in proverbs and tales, its name is associated with the name of the month “March”. There are three months, which are personified in the mythic present Bulgarian – January, February and March. January and February are like brothers with pungent characters – Big and Small Sechko Sechko. Baba Marta is considered to be their sister, who is now smiling and well-intentioned, sometimes unpredictable evil. With Baba Marta and March connect many customs and festivals dedicated to the coming spring. The most famous custom associated with Baba Marta is zakichvaneto of women, girls, children and young animals Martenitza (twisted white and red thread) on 1 March – the day of arrival of Baba Marta. Throughout the month is out of the rituals for chasing snakes and lizards, and omens related to some migratory birds.

“An Editorial: New Year, a New Start and a New hope for the future” written by Nadezhda Garbova :):P

30 01 2010

Every New Year we have a chance for a new start, and new hope for the future. It’s like when we are in school. Each year brought new hope for the future. Each year in school we have the chance to start all over again. We have the same chance with the New Year. Each year bring us a fresh new chance for a better future.

Usually, we are very enthusiastic  when all New Year’s celebrations are going on. Fireworks are going off, parties are everywhere, and everyone is in a good mood. Starting a New Year is serious business. It is not something to be taken lightly. Remember, you have a fresh chance to start over and redirect your future. If things have been going wonderfully for you in the past year, it’s best to continue what you are doing. However, if things have gone wrong for you, it’s time to make a change.

Perhaps, you need to start a new job. Or maybe, you need to start a new business. Or perhaps, it’s time to reconcile with old friends and family members. The New Year gives you the chance to do anything you want to do. Don’t waste the opportunity to change your life for the better.

Being successful is different for everyone. Some people consider making a lot of money as being successful. Some people think that cultivating good friendships as being successful. Some people think that a good career will make them successful. On the New Year, think long and hard what it is that you want from life. What is it you want to do? Don’t waste your life, by just passing the years any thought as to where you are going.

Tickle your taste buds – by Lili Mircheva

In our days have a lot of people, who live in misery. They haven’t a lot of food like us, so they must to eat insects.
They have a special recipe for scopions: first, take 30 to 40 live scorpions. Stir-fry in hot oil for 20 seconds. Add porc, ginger, salt and paper. Cook gently for 404 minnutes… Not your average take-away, but a traditional dish in some parts of the world and one of them unusial recipes collected by photographer Peter Menzel and his wife, Faith, during a nine-year study of entomophagy, the aeating of insects, whitch has taken them all over the globe.
Many people know that at this world have a lot of people, who eat insects every day, because they haven’t other for aeting.
For me the worms and the insect are alful, but in some countries they are dalicacy.

How our classrooms can be better by Lili Mircheva

13 01 2010

Introduction                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    This report is to suggest what we need to make the classrooms better in our school. I asked students for their ideas.

Background situation                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            What it’s  need to be inside a good school classrooms  is that they all have all the equpment students might need starting from the essential things like chair, blackboards, finishing with accessories like televisions.

Suggestions                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        I certainly believe that two things need to start our plan po improve the school classrooms, they are money and good management. My idea of improving the classrooms is to  start with what we have and see what needs to be repare and what has to be thrown away and replaced with a new equipment and some computers that the students might need also having a massive library is one of the more important things that students request. Heating and air conditioning are necessary to make the atmosphere in the classrooms cosy.

Personal opinion                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           In conclusion, the chance of having a good classroom looks easy from a distance, in fact it isn’t, and that we  must try to find the balance between having a very good school and not spending too much.
